There are many activities you can support with a contribution to CAMM.
Undergraduates
Research provides unique formative experiences that can help students with their future careers. For example, two student researchers in the tear film group have gone on to graduate study in optometry. Funds are used to pay student stipends and/or travel expenses for the summer or during the academic year.
Graduate students
Successful Master's and Ph.D. dissertations have sprung from research projects that were supervised by CAMM faculty. Support for a stipend or travel can be an incredible boost for a student's career.
Collaboration
CAMM research projects rely on multidisciplinary teams of faculty and physicians. Particularly in the formative stages of a project, there can be a need for funds to cover travel or other meeting expenses, or technilogical requirements such as data storage or exchange.
